Upload local files

Network-attached storage is a file-level storage architecture that makes stored data more accessible to networked devices.

Steps

  1. Select a storage system that supports File.
  2. Select Storage > File.
  3. Select the NAS SERVERS tab, select a NAS server, click Details icon, and click VIEW ALL DETAILS.
  4. Select the NAMING SERVICES tab.
  5. Select the Local Files tab.
  6. Click one of the following: Upload Passwd File, Retrieve current Passwd File, Upload Group File, Retrieve current Group File, Upload Hosts file, Retrieve current Hosts file, Upload Netgroup File, Retrieve current Netgroup File, Upload Homedir File, Retrieve current Homedir File, Upload Nxtmap File, Retrieve current Nxtmap File.
  7. Click Choose File.
  8. Click OK.
